Roger Walker was raised in Arrington, Tennessee on a family farm. Growing corn, Tobacco, wheat, hay, cows – a typical farm life. Roger began repairing and rebuilding motorcycles, cars, and tractors at an early age and drawing very early.

Roger graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1991 with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering.

Roger has no formal art or illustration training.

He began designing the look of Bluegrass Underground, on the second day the show was conceived by friend and producer Todd Mayo, after a family outing to Cumberland Caverns.

Walker currently has 60+ sketchbooks completed.
